RUMORS: Dinar Revaluation & Dinar Rumors

9-17-2012 Mountainman: One of my favorite quotes ever came out yesterday and then again today. “London banking conference will turn Iraq into a bank to finance bankrupt economies in Europe, U.S. and the GCC.” Pretty self explanatory and clearly the Gulf Cooperation Council, Europe and the US are all looking at this conference as a platform to futher exploit Iraq’s wealth for their benefit. Whether Iraq has a straight revaluation or free float, it clearly will not be a lop and we have all made the right decision to hold onto this currency. These are some very exciting times in Dinar Land and I feel we are coming to the end of this ride.

9-16-2012 C Young (Part 1): Simple Truth about the IQD. Make no mistake, Shabibi is not going to turn a powerful currency over to the likes of Maliki. This is just not going to happen! So any that think the RV of the IQD has nothing to do with Iraq, they can yet again put their tail between their legs and walk away.
This false assumption has proven wrong day after day as Maliki has remained in power and there has been NO RV. Those who do believe that the RV of the IQD has a lot to do with Iraqi politics have been right – and in the end they will be right. Someday Maliki will lose a lot of his power or maybe even his life. When that day comes, then Shabibi will assess the situation.

9-16-2012 BGG: The biggest current rumor is that Talibani showed up in Iraq 48 hours ago. I kind of doubt this to be true – for several reasons. First, I have a couple of pretty deep sources that would have told me so ahead of time. Second (as I relayed on our MOD call the other nite), about 12 hours after he actually shows up every Arabic news feed there is would have an article about it. This is really, really big news and is being watched closely by everyone here and there.

9-15-2012 Ray T : On a conference call with Blaino he stated that the market maker will determine price of the Dinar. There are no market makers in currency trading only brokers and banks. There is electronic trading and there is open call trading but there is no central market maker. The IQD is not presently traded and there is no currency pairing on forex at this time. His total premise of the value of the currency coming out at what it is now is based on false assumptions and ignores what Dr S has been stating all along about the value.

9-15-2012 Mike: The Heat is on. Britain’s Foreign Minister showed up to talk today to Maliki. Parliament is also acting. They have run into a few road blocks but the President of the Parliament Nujaifi put together a committee on the Oil & gas Law to meet on Tuesday – he is giving them deadlines. All of a sudden Baghdad and Erbil agree to pay the dues to the oil companies. I don’t know what happened to make this happen but this is a major bargaining chip which means something is in the works. They are getting something in order to do this or they were told to do this. These are all major things that signal to me that the government is having lots of negotiations and things are happening behind the scenes. Could be a major weekend for news into Monday.

Patricia: Thanks to both of you, Steve what you and Kap say does make sense, but what about the idea of de dollarizing, if they don’t equal the USD 1.00 how is all of this going to accomplish that feat as to what one of the main goals the CBI wanted. I understand about cheaper imports etc. but how is that going to help keep the inflation in check and benefit the people in Iraq on a day to day basis? Especially when time is of the essence.

Today’s events were scary and REAL! How much has to happen before everyone realizes that this world is messed up something terrible? The United States, for most of our lives and even before was the “Voice of Reason” for the world. Now, we are looked upon as manipulative people who only care about our best interest. That, my friends is because we stopped being careful enough to make sure that our country was being represented by our real feelings and desires about how this world should be.
We start wars to secure oil and riches, we degrade our own present and past world leaders in order to make ourselves seem smart, but it actually makes us look foolish…. For years, the Republicans and Democrats have fought tooth and nail for power and nobody has won, but everyone has lost. No longer do other countries envy us for the type of government we have because we don’t have one to be proud of anymore.

9-11-2012 Blaino: We are eagerly anticipating the commencement of the London Banking and Iraqi Investment “Summit” Meeting coming up on the 18th and 19th this month!
Tell me PLEASE if you have a valueless currency and no way to incentivize those who could bring “investment” (infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, transportation and other goods and services) to your country and no way to pay them in some kind of usable currency why go thru the exercise and why expect international corporations to appear at a cost of travel, the temporary loss of their top personnel during the meetings and for a null effect?

9-10-2012 Mountainman: All estimates are that the Ministers will finally be announced sometime during this week. The World Bank is pushing the CBI to follow through and do what’s best for the country. Hashemi is not going to be executed because Turkey won’t hand him over to Baghdad and Talabani doctors are saying that he’s just about full recovered and will return soon. Everything sure does look great and I think we’re exactly where we need to be to see a big change soon.

9-9-2012 BGG: I find it most encouraging that our US delegation went from here to Iraq, then directly on to Germany to meet with Talibani. They are most interested in getting this moved on down the road. I am also hearing the current Administration is uncomfortable with this current scenario and them getting hit with the blow-back. It is exposing their foreign policy bumblings. The bad news is if anything will derail this thing at the last minute, it’s this Al-Hashemi conviction and sentencing. Maliki knows this, and he’s working his “poker buddies” over on the Federal Courts Bench. They might keep Al-Hashemi safe and while they give Maliki a little of his own medicine? It is my personal opinion Maliki just convicted himself. Of note, this will be a very big story for a while. Also of note, Interpol won’t touch this stupid warrant due to it’s highly suspicious political “stench.”

9-9-2012 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG The pressure is getting turned back on Maliki. He has had since before Ramadan and up until now to get things done – and hasn’t (thus far). The people aren’t fooled and are getting pretty “amped up” over the whole “crisis mess”, which is just a pretty way to say Maliki still isn’t doing what he said he would.
